WELCOME TO CHARLIE'S ALE HOUSE
ANDERSONVILLE

Located in the heart of Chicago's historic Swedish neighborhood, Andersonville is known primarily as a Swedish enclave, but those who shop and dine up and down Clark Street around Foster Avenue are as likely to find pita and panjun as lingonberries and lutefisk.

Easily accessible by both of Chicago's major north side highways and by public transportation, Andersonville has become one of Chicago's most diverse neighborhoods, but those who are so inclined can still buy lutefisk here, along with other Scandinavian specialty foods, at the Swedish delis dotting the neighborhood. Dine at Charlie's before or after a day of shopping at one of the dozens of specialty shops up and down Clark Street.
